XL Hospice
XL Hospice is a life-affirming philosophy of care and support system to help the dying and their loved ones find peace and maintain dignity in the final stages of life. The focus of hospice is on “palliative care,” not curing diseases. “Palliative care” is treatment that relieves discomfort and enhances quality of life.
The staff at XL Hospice strongly believes providing care at the end-of-life is a sacred and honored opportunity. Their holistic care team of health-care professionals involves a team-oriented approach to skilled medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes. Hospice services are also extended to the patient’s loved ones as well.
XL Hospice has been in business for over 25 years. Locally owned until early 2014, the company was acquired by Signature Hospice. Since that time, management remains local with the added benefit and backing of the corporate structure.
Goals for XL Hospice remain the same; to provide personalized care for each patient and their family members. Their team focuses on comfort, companionship, relief, peace, and resolution. Their mission is to help the dying and their loved ones find peace and maintain dignity in the final stages of life.
XL Hospice has served Gem County for many years. Their team members live here, have grown up here, and have strong roots here. They understand the small town culture that sets this community apart from other communities. There is a unique attitude here that focuses on caring for each other, and a responsibility to make this a better place to live.
