Valor Health is the healthcare leader in Gem County. They are happy to offer Gem County residents full-time orthopedics and sports medicine care, specializing in these common conditions: Fractures, degenerative conditions, foot and ankle conditions, hand and wrist conditions, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal pain- including back, neck, shoulder, and knee.

Valor Health asked the community to share their healthcare needs with them, and they heard loudly that there was a need for a full-time orthopedic surgeon at Valor. This is what brought the program to our community. We are an active community and they want it to stay that way! Dr. Jerod Hines is an Idaho native and is excited to live and work in Gem County.

Their goal is to provide expert care, close to home. They know people have a choice in where they receive healthcare, and they are dedicated to providing that care.
