Community Partnerships of Idaho
Community Partnerships of Idaho (CPI) began in 1995 as a dream of a few friends who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children, teens and adults with disabilities. They were committed to “creating opportunities for people to learn and achieve their goals.” This vision for services and adhering to their company values of Personal Dignity, Integrity, Innovation and Relationships, continues to guide their company to this day.
Community Partnerships of Idaho’s largest office is the Emmett office. They have an adult center located at 608 S. Washington Ave. and a children’s center at 315 S. Johns Ave. They have been serving participants in Emmett and surrounding areas since 1997.
Their 120 member staff serve and support 113 clients including 36 children and 50 adults in a number of programs. They also provide in-home supportive living services to 27 adults. They have expanded their services over the years to include providing employment services allowing adults an opportunity to work and build relationships with employers in the community.
Adult services were also added that allow adults with disabilities options to participate in community events and interact with peers. CPI offers supported living services for adults who want to live in their own homes and need assistance in their everyday life. They also have family trainings offering assistance to those who care for children, teens, and adults with disabilities.
A Few of their current services and support include:
• Intensive Behavioral Intervention
• Habilitated Intervention and Supports
• Respite
• Family and Interdisciplinary Training/Education
• Developmental Therapy
Community Partnerships of Idaho’s Director, Tonya Heimbuck, has been with CPI for 17 years. Tonya and her staff are active Chamber members serving as Ambassadors and participate in many community events such as the Annual Cherry Festival, Harvest Festival, and Adopt a Highway Program. They also serve on many community advisory boards, Relay for Life, and American Legion events. CPI thanks the Emmett community for their support over the past 19 years and look forward to continuing to create opportunities for people to learn and achieve their goals.
