The Orchard Christian Church
The Orchard Christian Church is a brand new church being planted here in the Emmett Valley. “Sharing God’s grace so that hearts grow deep in love for Christ and rich in love for people.” This is the mission statement for The Orchard Christian Church. This is core statement on sharing their beliefs. Ben and Telah moved here from Utah in July of 2013. They were contacted by the Intermountain Church Planters Association to help plant a church. Ben and Telah were both raised as “PK’s” Pastors Kids, they plan to follow in their fathers’ footsteps and raise their children with the same beliefs they were raised with. They are both extremely excited to be teaching the word of God to friends, family, and strangers.
They are a faith community, Bible-based church pursuing God’s purpose in this generation. The church is made up of local people of all ages and walks of life. “Our goal is to care for our community in such a way that people will be open to experiencing the amazing grace of God” states Ben McClary, Lead Pastor.
They strive to grow a healthy and vibrant community of faith that is positive, supportive, relational, and rooted in Jesus’ teaching about how to enjoy life as God intends. “I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.” –Jesus (from John 10:10).
This wonderful church offers opportunities for our community to connect with God in a relaxed and informal worship service setting, and for people to help each other grow personally and spiritually. The church offers Sunday morning classes for kids, newborn to fifth grade and four life groups that meet Monday through Friday.
The Orchard Christian Church meets at Carberry Elementary School located at 12th and Sub Station. Worship and Sunday service is from 10:30-11:45 a.m. every Sunday morning. “We invite you to come be a part of this brand new church,” says Ben McClary.
Their official “Grand Opening” month is April. They have invited everyone and anyone from the community to be a part of their church family from the very beginning, when EVERYONE is new.
