2015 Ambassador of the Year – Lori Carrillo
The Gem County Chamber of Commerce has named Lori Carrillo, a relationship banker at Bank of the Cascades, as the 2015 Ambassador of the Year.
Lori has been an ambassador with the Gem County Chamber for over a year. As an ambassador, she has frequent contact with member businesses and serves as a mentor to both new and returning Chamber members.
She helps people achieve financial needs and goals, open accounts (personal and business), personal loans, home equity loans and lines, auto loans, etc. In October, she hit her 10 year anniversary with Bank of the Cascades.
Being born and raised in Emmett, Lori has had the opportunity to really get to know the people of the town that she has always been a part of. She says, “I really like the Ambassador Program. I have been able to meet lots of great people and continue meeting them; not only my fellow ambassadors and chamber members but also local business owners.”
“Lori has been such a pleasure to work with over the last year. She is always ready to help and take on a project; she’s even willing to spend endless hours with us at the Cherry Festival! We are very lucky to have Lori volunteering with us and hope for many years to come!” says President/CEO Stephanie LaMore.
When she isn’t working or volunteering with the Chamber, Lori loves to spend time outdoors doing things such as camping and fishing. She even loves the snow! She also enjoys spending time with her family. She is the youngest of four girls. Her older sisters are more like best friends to her. She married her high school sweetheart five years ago and they have a dog named Ace. They have nine nephews that she loves to spoil and spend lots of time with!
