Recovery Idaho, Inc. DBA Gem County Recovery Community Center is a non-profit business that supports services for substance use and behavioral health issues. Free classes are available for anyone in need of help and support.
The Recovery Center was started to serve the residents in Gem County and provide a safe, respectful place for those in recovery to interact with peers. The goal is to be self-sustaining and bring awareness and support regarding recovery to the community as they reduce stigma.
The mission of Recovery Idaho is to support the recovery community by collaborating with local groups and organizations in the development and delivery of community driven recovery support services. They work on behalf of all those impacted by recovery through service, education, and advocacy to remove the stigma and discrimination surrounding addictions and mental illness.
The center honors all pathways to recovery. They provide the space for any class/meeting free of charge. The center is a safe environment for adults to interact with peers who are also in recovery.
Gem County Recovery Community Center is located at 115 S. McKinley Ave. Hours of operation are Monday – Saturday from 9am – 5pm. They are closed Sundays. There are also evening and weekend classes. To contact them, call (208) 398-5151.
