Letha
Letha, Idaho
Letha is a small unicorporated town located about 9 miles west of Emmett.
Letha was established when Colonel Barnard and W.W. Wilton wanted a town midway through the Emmett Valley to extend the railroad running from New Plymouth to Emmett. Their hope was that it would become a major rail center.
While their hope was never realized, Wilton did get to name the town for his daughter, Letha.
Today Letha offers a general store, post office, auto service and one church.

Farming and ranching are still an important part of life in Letha, Idaho.

Cattle are rounded up and branded in the Spring.
