Golfing in Gem County

Built by local residents in the 1950's, the Emmett City Golf Course offers a challenging 9-hole course.

The Emmett City Golf Course sits on the same property as the Emmett Municipal Airport. The first five holes are on one side of the runway with the second four holes located on the other side.

The course, while mostly level, offers a great many trees and other obstacles to conquer. The ponds on two holes offer even more of a challenge.

The course and its facilities are run and managed by the Gem County Golf Association, a member-based organization. The GCGA leases the facility from the City of Emmett.

Annual golf memberships may be purchased and prices vary by age and number of members. Association dues are posted in the clubhouse.

Green fees may also be paid for daily use. Special evening rates apply.

There is a small cafe on-site and pro-shop on site. Golf carts and pull carts can be rented for a fee.

The Gem County Golf Association holds several tournaments throughout the year as do several non-profit organizations.
