DeArmond Named 2007 Ambassador of the Year

DEARMOND NAMED 2007 GCCC AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR At the February 2008 Gem County Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) Ambassador meeting, Rod DeArmond - (now with) State Farm Insurance, was honored at the 2007 GCCC Ambassador of the Year.

 GCCC President, Chuck Rolland presented DeArmond with a plaque signifying his achievement.

In addition, GCCC Executive Director, Wisti Rosenthal, announced that each GCCC Ambassador of the Year will be remembered with an annual photo plaque that will be hung in the GCCC office.  

“I really did not expect this,” said DeArmond. “This is truly an honor and I appreciate everyone in the Ambassadors and the dedication of each Ambassador to the Gem County Chamber of Commerce and to their fellow business owners. I get so much out of being an Ambassador, both personally and professionally, it almost feels funny getting an award!” 

Since joining the GCCC Ambassadors, DeArmond has been an significant force in the many achievements of the group. 

GCCC Ambassadors assist the Chamber with welcoming new businesses and meeting with existing GCCC members on an annual basis. Ambassadors are also instrumental in assisting with GCCC events and other meetings.
