JANUARY

• Project Graduation Cake Auction.....held at EHS Huskies Gym between the JV & Varsity Basketball games.

FEBRUARY

• Methodist Men's Annual Groundhog Day Pancake Supper.....always the first Saturday in February.
• "Love At First Walk" 4-H Fundraiser for Pet Adoption League.....usually the second Saturday in February.
• Order of the Eastern Star Annual Sweethearts Dinner.....always held on Sunday close to Valentines Day at the Masonic Hall.
• Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.....always the Tuesday starting Lent. St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 219 E. 1st Street, Emmett.
• Annual Gemmy Awards .....usually around the middle of February, established in 1998 to honor those who make the Emmett Community Playhouse possible.

MARCH

APRIL

• Wings & Wheels.....around the third Saturday in April. Emmett Airport hosts a fly-in, open house, air plane contest, show-n-shine and so much more.
• Rotary Youth Auction.....always the last friday in April. This is the largest, longest-running event supporting youth and youth programs in Emmett.
• Youth Appreciation Day.....always the last Saturday in April. An Emmett Rotary Club sponsored event in collaboration with dozens of other community organizations.
• Easter Egg Hunt.....Sponsored by the Gem County Chamber of Commerce, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt is held at the Emmett City Park. Held the Saturday before Easter.
• Emmett's Pari-Mutuel Horse Racing Spring Meet.....Held at the Gem County Fairgrounds. Check with the Fair Board or this website Calendar for annual dates.

MAY

• Friends of the Library Annual Tour of Homes.....Take a tour of some of the most historic, fabulous and unique homes of Gem County.
• WKMH Health Fair.....A fun time with booths, entertainment and food. Many free health tests offered and loads of health-related information. 
• Doc Olson - Rotary Memorial Golf Tournament.....Join the Emmett Rotary Club in this one-of-a-kind fun golf tournament. Everyone welcome.
• Emmett City Golf Course Fundraiser.....Since 2005, the annual fundraiser tournament is a good time and supports the Emmett City Golf Course, 365-2675.

JUNE

• Blaser Park Farmers Market.....Starts in June and runs through September, every Wednesday and Saturday. Lots of fresh veggies, fruit and homemade items.
• Emmett Cherry Festival.....Always the 2nd full week in June. One of Idaho's longest-running events. A family-friendly good time with daily entertainment, vendors, food and a carnival.
• Freezeout Hill Climb Race.....This annual auto race began in 1966. Trials are held on Friday night, racing on Saturday. An exciting race winding through the hills on Old Freezeout.

JULY

• Emmett Optimist Annual Fireworks Show.....Spectacular fireworks show on the "Island" held on July 4th.
• Blaser Park Farmers Market.....Starts in June and runs through September, every Wednesday and Saturday. Lots of fresh veggies, fruit and homemade items.
• Emmett's Lavender Festival.....Two great local Lavender Farms with loads of fresh lavender, homemade products for sale, luxury campsite, lots of history.
• Emmett Valley Show n' Shine.....Always the 3rd Saturday in July.
• Cruise Night.....Always the 3rd Saturday in July.
• Art in the Park.....Held in the Emmett City Park. A juried Art Show with artisans of every kind.
• Gem/Boise County Fair and Rodeo.....Always includes the last Saturday in August. The Fair and Rodeo is a 4-day celebration with exhibitors, games, food, entertainment and a rowdy rodeo!

AUGUST

• Blaser Park Farmers Market.....Starts in June and runs through September, every Wednesday and Saturday. Lots of fresh veggies, fruit and homemade items.
• Gem County Chamber of Commerce HOT AUGUST CASINO NIGHT.....Formerly held in March, join your friends for fabulous food, fun, gaming and a great night under the stars. 
• Gem/Boise County Fair and Rodeo.....(continues) Always includes the last Saturday in August. The Fair and Rodeo is a 4-day celebration with exhibitors, games, food, entertainment and a rowdy rodeo!
• Emmett's Most Excellent Triathlon.....Always the 1st Saturday in August.
• Relay For Life.....Always the 3rd Friday & Saturday in August.
• Paint the Town Purple.....Always the week of Relay for Life. Starting Monday, show support for Cancer Research and survivors by decorating establishments and homes in purple. Contest for the best decorated.

SEPTEMBER

• Blaser Park Farmers Market.....Starts in June and runs through September, every Wednesday and Saturday. Lots of fresh veggies, fruit and homemade items.
• POW MIA Motorcycle Rodeo.....Three days of fun events, music, food and games.

OCTOBER

• Harvest Festival Street Fair.....Always the 1st Friday & Saturday of October.
• The River Through Time.....The same weekend of Harvest Festival on Saturday & Sunday.
  

NOVEMBER

• The Mayor's State of the City Address.....Hear the Mayor discuss the year in review and upcoming plans. Presented by the Gem County Chamber of Commerce.
• WKMH Auxiliary Festival of Wreaths.....Annual Crafters Faire and Community Support Drive.

DECEMBER

• Gem County Commissioners State of the County Address.....Hear the County Commissioners discuss the year in review and upcoming plans. Presented by the Gem County Chamber of Commerce.
• Circle G River Ranch Kids Country Christmas Party.....Held the second Saturday in December. The Circle G River Ranch invites all kids to come out for a free Christmas celebration complete with pony rides, gifts and a visit from Santa. 4909 E. Idaho Blvd, Emmett, (208) 398-8636.
• Festival of Lights.....Sponsored by the Gem County Recreation District. Entertainment, a candle walk, visit from Santa and the official lighting of the Community Christmas Tree.
